Requirements
Depending on your case, the process may follow two pathways:
Employment-based residence permit:
- Valid passport and current TIE
Proof of completion of higher education studies in Spain (minimum EQF level 6) - Job offer with a minimum duration of 1 year under Spanish labor conditions
- Employer’s legal and financial documentation
Self-employment residence permit:
- Valid passport and current TIE
- Proof of completion of higher education studies in Spain
- Viable business plan adapted to the Spanish market
- Proof of sufficient investment and professional capacity
Application deadlines
The application must be submitted within:
60 days before the expiration of your student stay, or
Up to 90 days after its expiration
Initial authorization is granted for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal under standard residence and work conditions.
Estimated processing time: 3 months

TIE (Foreigner ID Card):
Full management of your TIE process after approval, including appointment, fees, and collection.
Return Authorization:
If you need to travel while your application is under review, we arrange your re-entry permit to avoid any legal risks.
